Theodore Learns About Farming Help
Theodore the turtle was visiting a farm in Tamil Nadu, India. He saw many farmers working hard in their fields.
"What helps these farmers sell their crops?" Theodore asked his friend, a wise old cow.
The cow replied, "There's a special group called the Tamil Nadu State Agricultural Marketing Board, or TNSAMB for short. They started in 1970 to help farmers sell their produce."
Theodore's eyes widened. "Wow! What does TNSAMB do?"
The cow explained, "They do many things:
- Help farmers find good places to sell their crops
- Teach farmers new skills
- Share information about prices and markets
- Make sure the markets are fair for everyone"
Theodore nodded, "That sounds very helpful!"
"Yes," the cow agreed. "They even write books about farming and hold fun exhibitions."
Theodore clapped his flippers. "I'd love to see an exhibition someday!"
The cow smiled, "Maybe you will, Theodore. TNSAMB works hard to make sure farmers get good prices for their hard work."
Theodore waved goodbye to his new friend. He was excited to learn more about farming and how people work together to help each other.
