Theodore Learns about a Scientist (John Money)
Theodore Learns About a Scientist
Theodore the turtle loved to learn new things. One day, he heard about a scientist named John Money.
"Who was John Money?" Theodore asked his teacher.
His teacher replied, "John Money was a scientist who lived from 1921 to 2006. He studied how people grow up and become who they are."
Theodore tilted his head. "What did he learn?"
"He learned that how we're raised can affect who we become," the teacher explained. "He thought about why some people feel like boys and others feel like girls."
Theodore nodded slowly. "That sounds interesting!"
"Yes, it was," the teacher agreed. "John Money wrote many books and taught at a big school called Johns Hopkins University."
Theodore smiled. "I like learning about scientists. They help us understand the world better!"
"That's right, Theodore," the teacher said. "Scientists like John Money ask questions and try to find answers. Sometimes they make mistakes, but that's how we learn and grow."
Theodore waved his little turtle flippers. "Thank you for teaching me about John Money. I want to keep learning about the world too!"
