Theodore Discovers Union, Nova Scotia
Theodore Discovers Union, Nova Scotia
Theodore the turtle was swimming in the warm waters off the coast of Canada when he spotted a small community on the shore. Curious, he poked his head out of the water to get a better look.
"What's that place?" Theodore wondered aloud.
A friendly seagull overhead heard him and swooped down. "That's Union, a community in Nova Scotia," the seagull explained.
Theodore's eyes widened with interest. "Nova Scotia? What's that?"
"It's a province in Canada," the seagull replied. "Union is in a part of Nova Scotia called Colchester County."
Theodore paddled closer to shore, eager to learn more. He saw maple trees lining the streets and colorful houses dotting the landscape.
"It looks so peaceful," Theodore remarked. "How many people live there?"
The seagull chuckled. "Not too many, Theodore. Union is a small community. But the people who live here love it."
Theodore noticed fishing boats in the harbor. "Do people fish here?" he asked.
"Yes, fishing is important in Nova Scotia," the seagull nodded. "The ocean provides food and jobs for many people."
As the sun began to set, Theodore waved goodbye to his new friend. He dove back into the ocean, excited to tell his turtle family about the charming community of Union in Nova Scotia, Canada.
